History of Bali Tourism
In Roman age, people have tourism travel because of practical needs, hungering curiosity and the religious impulse, so in Hindu era in the Archipelago / Indonesia especially in Bali there were also occurred due to encouragement because of religious travel.

Later in the year 1920 start of European tourists visiting Bali. This happened thanks to the Dutch trading ships of KPM (Koninklijke Paketcart Maatsckapy) who in his search for spices in Indonesia and also so that these ships had passengers in their trip to Indonesia and Bali introduced in Europe as (the Island of God).

TRIATMA  SURYA  JAYA FOUNDATION  

Triatma  Surya Jaya Foundation was established on September 21, 1996 based on Notarial Deed I Made Puryatma, SH. No. 39 and is located in Banjar Tegal Jaya, Dalung, Kuta, Badung. The foundation is engaged in education and training of the kindergarten through high school.


The purpose of the establishment of this foundation is to assist the government and participating communities in education and science and intellectual life of the nation and advance the village.
To achieve the aims and objectives, the Foundation carry out activities in education and training along with courses and other skills outside of formal education, founded the high school, other social activities that do not conflict with laws and regulations.


The first higher education institution founded by the Foundation are Triatma Surya Jaya Tourism Academy in 1998. The center was established considering the demand for labor in tourism and hospitality professionals in connection with the development of the tourism industry in Bali. In 1999, the College of Economics was founded Triatma Mulya, in order to anticipate the needs of the workforce in the economic field but also have skills in hospitality and tourism.


In subsequent years, the Foundation established the Early Childhood Education and Elementary School, located in Tabanan and Singaraja, Vocational School (SMK) Triatma  Jaya   Tourism is also located in Badung, Tabanan and Singaraja.


In addition, the foundation Triatma Surya Jaya also carry out various training activities, both in the field of hospitality, tourism, technology, economics and so forth for the poor and in order to alleviate unemployment as a manifestation of our concern for the surrounding community and the public at large.


Triatma  Surya  Jaya Foundation will remain concentrated in the development of education and government partners in order to print a workforce that has the professionalism, character, global vision and faith in accordance with their respective fields.
